Mr Ali Narvani completed his medical training at Guys and St Thomas' Medical school in 1996. His higher surgical training in trauma and orthopaedics was on the North West Thames rotation working at hospitals including Chelsea & Westminster, Royal National Orthopaedics and St Mary's Hospitals.
Following this, he undertook two fellowships in Shoulder & Elbow surgery. The first of these was under Andrew Wallace as the Paul Calvert fellow. The second was at the renowned Reading Shoulder Unit working under Stephen Copeland and Ofer Levy.
In December 2010, he was appointed consultant orthopaedic surgeon at Ashford & St Peter's NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Narvani's clinical interest areas include open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery including tendon repair, stabilisations, trauma and arthroplasty (joint replacement).
He has completed an MSc (Distinction) in Sports Medicine and has membership of Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (UK). Mr Narvani has published extensively in fields of orthopaedics and sports medicine and has authored a text book in sports medicine.
