Dr Benjamin J. Roberton undertook undergraduate training at the University of Edinburgh Medical School, qualifying in 2001, he then worked through a number of medical specialties in London teaching Hospitals, gaining membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2004.

Dr Roberton underwent higher training at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital achieving fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2009 and completed a Musculoskeletal Radiology Fellowship at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2011, with an emphasis on sports imaging and musculoskeletal ultrasound.

Following this, Dr Roberton went on to an Interventional Radiology Fellowship at The University of British Columbia and Vancouver General Hospital in 2012 gaining experience in advanced interventional techniques with an emphasis on oncologic and musculoskeletal intervention, before returning to Chelsea and Westminster Hospital as a consultant.

Dr Roberton has a broad practice with special interests including sports imaging, he was a radiologist at the Glasgow commonwealth games in 2014. His interventional practice is focused on oncologic, musculoskeletal and venous intervention, including ablative techniques in bone and solid organs, embolisation, and the treatment of varicose veins and vascular malformations. He published and presented internationally on a range of topics including thoracic imaging, hand imaging and intervention, uterine artery embolization, pulmonary and solid organ thermal ablation and radioembolization.
